How To Use
How to use our metallic sapphire blue natural mineral powder pigment in resin, cosmetics, and more
For epoxy resin: First, mix 30g / 0.5oz of powder per 1L / 34fl oz of epoxy resin. Simply sprinkle the powder into the resin, and stir for one minute to ensure even distribution. Then, add the hardener and mix again for another minute to get the perfect results.
For cosmetics: Gently apply with a brush to your desired area, whether for body art, eyeshadow, or highlighter. Its fine texture and rich colour mean that a little goes a long way, giving vibrant results with minimal product.
For soaps: Add the natural mineral powder pigment to your soap base once it's melted. Stir gently to ensure the pigment is evenly distributed. We recommend starting with 1 teaspoon of pigment per pound of soap base and adjusting based on the colour intensity you desire. Once the pigment is mixed, pour the soap into moulds and allow it to set.
For bath bombs: Mix the natural mineral powder pigment into your dry ingredients before adding any liquids. Use 1-2 teaspoons of pigment per cup of baking soda for a vibrant colour. Stir the mixture thoroughly to distribute the colour evenly. Continue following your bath bomb recipe as normal, adding the wet ingredients slowly while stirring to avoid premature fizzing.
Powder Responsibly
Use our metallic sapphire blue natural mineral powder pigment responsibly.
While adding pigment enhances your projects, it’s essential to minimize environmental impact. Therefore, avoid rinsing excess powder down the drain, as it can affect water systems. Instead, clean up with a dry brush or vacuum, and properly dispose of leftover pigment responsibly.
